Gelli on a plate

Yesterday I was a bit excited to receive my gelli plate! Have watched Barbara Gray creating masterpieces with it and thought that I would like to have a go. Well, here is the first print.

I am rather chuffed with the result.  I just slapped on the yellow paint then added the flower mask and sponge the paint on to give texture to the print, followed by a little white paint to knock it back in areas. And there you have it, my first gelli plate print. This morning I decided that I would use my print to create a background for a card. Here it is.
